The Journey of Faith Continues…

Exactly 4 1/2 years ago today Brandi and I packed up our necessary belongings and moved 7 hours to Union City, TN. We have had the great privilege of serving as minister of students at Second Baptist Church. When we started this blog and this journey of adoption last week we didn’t know of the HUGE leap of faith that our lives would soon require. Tonight we resigned our church as student ministers. We had a very emotional service but got to spend a little time praying with every student and adult in the room. It was such a blessing to wash the feet of our friends and pray for each one and their families, lives and futures. John 13:14  If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. (serve others) 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

WE have life-long friendships with these people and just know that God has great plans for all of them as they serve Jesus and others.

As the future is concerned, we will soon be relocating to Gadsden, Alabama. I will be going on staff with Acton Bowen Outreach. It will be a pleasure to serve our Father as we serve the ministry of ABO. (actonbowen.com) I will continue to lead The Synergy Project. (synergycamp.org)  and EXIT Winter Conference. (exitconference.org) We will be under the umbrella of ABO. I will also be planning men’s conferences, mission trips and traveling with Acton as the need arises. We are happy that after 10 years away from home that God has called us to be closer to our families. We have such an amazing family that we love and cherish dearly.

As far as adoption goes we will be slowly going through the process as God provides the funds.  We know that God is faithful and He will provide all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19

We ask that you please pray with us on this voyage.  Bon Voyage…..
